The TCU serves as the driving force behind the PMC that is placed on Open Rack v3.0 (ORV3) power shelves with power shelf units (PSUs) and battery backup units (BBUs). TCU is an integrated ASIC with trusted computing, BMC, TPM, HRoT, and AI/ML. With an on-board TCU solution, it provides AI-driven security, network anomaly detection, failure detection and prediction by monitoring various sensors for voltage, temperature, etc. along with other standard PMC functionality. This module offers the additional benefits of offload for customization of security, management, and any other customer value-added services.
